This course is designed for the experienced drone practitioner to apply the knowledge of flight and aerial photography to produce exciting commercial videos. This course is not for the novice pilot; students must have drone piloting experience to take this course. Students will plan drone flights to secure footage for a commercial they will design, featuring either a product or a service. They will plot a scenario for the flight and the specific images they will need to sell their product. The course combines drone activity and photography with a sophisticated use of software for editing the commercial, adding ambient sound and music, creating graphics and applying voice overs. Combining activities in the classroom with those in the field, each student will be able to create a one-to-two minute video advertising their product or service. Participants that take this course will have developed enhanced skills in this new, growing field.
