With the basic skills in high performance vehicle repair learned in the “Fundamentals” course in hand, students now steer their focus toward the intricacies of HPV electrical systems. In this hands-on course, students learn how electrical systems operate and the methods for assessing non-working electrical components. They will learn to operate common testing equipment and determine defects in wiring and electrical parts. Students will discover how electrical power drives charging systems, ignitions and fuel injection systems. After gaining this in-depth working knowledge of electrical systems, students will be able to move up to a more advanced level of repair and maintenance.
