You are now certified in underwater diving. What do you do next? In this course, you will take the skills learned in the introductory course, and with your certification in hand, learn to apply these skills to more open water dives. As with the previous course, you will begin instruction in the classroom, building your knowledge in safety practices. You will also learn CPR and AED (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator) as well as first aid practices in preparation for your experiences in deep diving. While in the classroom, you will focus on stronger diving techniques and how they will apply in the open water. Following classroom instruction, you will be ready for the pool then, subsequently, deep dives in open water. Open water dives will be scheduled with your diving instructor over a set number of days as you gradually become acclimated to the world of the open water deep diver.
