Prerequisites: Background check. Students must be at least 18 years of age to attend. Home Health Aides are in demand and serve as a health care workers in a variety of settings including home care, assisted living and hospice. Certified Home Health Aides assist with the physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs of their clients. Through a partnership with Bayada Home Health Care, RCGC is offering this New Jersey Board of Nursing-approved certification course. This comprehensive program provides a foundation for understanding in-home health and personal care. This state-approved program includes 76 hours of classroom content with 16 hours of clinical practicum. This course includes the cost of the New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide examination and application fee to New Jersey Board of Nursing. 9.2 CEUs
