Electrical Principles and Practices is an introductory course to the electrical and electronic use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The course will begin with key electrical concepts such as the fundamental properties of matter, atoms, and basic quantities. Participants will become familiar with common types of voltage, circuits, and codes. Mathematic principles as well as applications will be used throughout the course to calculate air resistance and energy usage. Skilled instructors will enforce safety precautions to ensure that all hands-on work will be done safely and effectively. After successfully completing the course, students will be able to use their acquired electrical skills in their everyday lives or use their knowledge toward an electrical field career.
