Skills to use and repair of generators have lately become critically more important than ever. Essentially, there are three specific types of generators: commercial, residential and recreational. In this course, students will learn how to work with all three. Through a mix of hands-on activities and lecture, they will learn methods to both maintain and troubleshoot generators. Instructors will guide students in the way to dismantle generators and reassemble them. In addition, students will be introduced to OSHA guidelines that address safety precautions and proper operation.
