Providing technical assistance to those interested in learning the game of golf is best taught slowly and methodically, lesson by lesson. This course is for those patient individuals that would like to share their knowledge of the game of golf as an instructor in a school setting or through a private, consulting practice. Participants will learn to develop their own teacher/coach philosophy and learn the steps to understanding how people learn, then turn these steps into actions for a variety of audiences including youngsters and adults. Students will learn how to incrementally teach the basics from instructing how to maintain the correct stance, to methods for maximizing the full swing, pitching, chipping and putting. Motivating novice players is key and students in this course will develop their own style for challenging students, acknowledging successes, and carefully correcting errors so as to not discourage continuation of learning.
