This class is for students who either possess a working knowledge of the Spanish language or who have successfully completed Spanish for Medical Professionals I. Topics help students broaden their knowledge of the Spanish language. Students study the near future, present progressive, command and imperative verb tenses; direct objects and increase their medical vocabulary. Furthermore, students practice interviewing patients, taking health histories, diagnosing, giving instructions and prescribing medication. Students improve their communication skills and conquer the frustrating communication gap that can occur.
